Canadian Security Intelligence Service - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is a Canadian intelligence agency founded in 1984 by an act of the Parliament of Canada.
The creation of CSIS was a recommendation of the McDonald Commission which advised removing responsibility for intelligence from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, specifically the RCMP Security Service.
Prior to the establishment of CSIS, the RCMP, which is Canada's federal police service, was responsible for intelligence and counterintelligence activities.

An example of a security claim is the identity of the sender; the sender can claim that he is Bob, known as an employee of some company, and therefore he has the right to send the message.
When an XML Signature is used in conjunction with the element, the security token of a message signer may be correlated and a mapping made between the claims of the security token and the message as evaluated by the application.
The header block is used to carry a signature compliant with the XML Signature specification within a SOAP Envelope for the purpose of signing one or more elements in the SOAP Envelope.

OMG Security   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-20)
The CORBA Security Service can control access to an application object without it being aware of security, so it can be ported to environments that enforce different security policies and use different security mechanisms.
Infrastructure security services may provide access control based on objects, object domains, and individual operations on objects, however the information regarding the resources of an application (features and/or data) requested by a user is often carried in the parameters of operations and only understood as a secured resource by business application itself.
The practical effect of not being able to use an infrastructure security service (such as CORBA Security Service) to express or realize application specific policies is that each business application must contain its own implementation of an access control facility (often coded as part of the business logic).
