	Sedgley - Wikipedia.
		In 1897, the villages of Coseley, Ettingshall and Brierley broke away from the Manor of Sedgley to form the Urban District Council of Coseley.
		Sedgley Urban District Council survived until 1966 when it became part of Dudley County Borough, which at the same time also took in the urban district councils of Coseley and Brierley Hill.
		Sedgley really developed from a village into a town after the Second World War when thousands of residential and commercial properties were developed across the area.

	Sedgley Woods History
		The Sedgley Mansion was located on the south side of Girard Avenue, to the south of the course.
		Sedgley fit Ed's vision of how a disc golf course should be designed: a predominance of short holes each requiring a great variety of shots.

	Sedgley Park School - The Roman Catholic School 1763 - 1873
		The school initial intake was 12 pupils, sometimes referred to as the Twelve Apostles.
		Though taking up the yearly option, in the autumn of 1868 it was announced that Cotton Hall would become a prep school for Sedgley Park, a precursor to moving out completely.
		Today Sedgley Park is a top class hotel and has reverted to its original name of Park Hall.

		Open class juniors sees seven sedgley riders in this group, Ian Skelding and Tiddles were the ones to watch in this race, Tiddles takes the hole-shot in his first race with Ian right behind, it wasn't long before Ian takes Tiddles, brilliant riding from these gave Ian second place with Tiddles in seventh.
		Their second race of the day Ian takes the hole-shot with Tiddles hot on his heels, but as a red flag went up it was Ian with the win and Tiddles third.
		There was only seven sedgley riders there this week but as it was an out of boarder group and the British MXGP was on this weekend it would explain why.
