		Seed AI is not a workaround that avoids the challenge of general intelligence by bootstrapping from an unintelligent core; seed AI only begins to yield benefits once there is some degree of available intelligence to be utilized.
		Similarly, where the seed AI idiom means that a cognitive talent coopts a domain competency in internal manipulations, improvements to intelligence may improve the domain competency and thereby improve the cognitive talent.

	CFAI: Seed AI goal systems
		Thinking in the third person is natural to AIs and very hard for humans; thus, the task for a Friendship programmer is to suppress her belief that the AI will think about verself in the first person (and, to a lesser extent, think about herself in the third person).
		The AI may think the sky is sea-green, and the humans may think the sky is turquoise, but both viewpoints will converge to the knowledge of the actual color of the sky, as more and better information becomes available to both parties.
		I doubt that an AI would experience a "betrayal discontinuity" analogous to that experienced by humans; the AI should be able to tolerate minor errors with no worse effects than a justifiably greater tendency to doubt our statements (see Crisis of Bayesian affirmation).

	Accelerating Future - Lexicon
		Most AI researchers of the past few decades have been adversarial, which is a great obstacle to the construction of intelligent systems that are benevolent because they want to be, rather than because of some arbitrary programmer rules.
		An AI that behaves like a mellow, sane, and unbiased human being would hardly be a blank slate, and would require a wealth of design features dedicated to implementing these behaviors - which is what the "Friendly AI" project is trying to do.
		Monomaniacal seed AIs with fixed goals would lack the cognitive prerequisites for empathy and compassion, resulting in worldviews that place humans on the same level as minerals and other raw materials - we might simply be viewed as unusually large spires of protein jutting out from the landscape.

		The open-source AI architecture is only half of the equation; we may compare the architecture to the HTML and TCP/IP protocols underlying the World Wide Web.
