  The SEER Program
The Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) program was established in 1973 as an outgrowth of the National Cancer Act, and has provided high quality information on cancer for the nation for almost 34 years.
Extensive efforts have been made since the SEER program's inception to ensure that data are collected on a very high proportion of all cases that develop cancer in the areas covered by the SEER registries, and that data on all cancer patients are of the highest quality.
The SEER registries have been utilized for many epidemiologic studies, which have contributed substantially to our knowledge about the causes of cancer, cancer care, and the sequelae of cancer treatment.

The spirit is bound into the seer's animal companion or in her weapon, as the seer desires.
The seer can call a spirit if she can sense it (see Spirit Guide), if she can touch its physical remains, or if she is holding hands with those who knew the spirit in life.
The seer herself, protected by her spirit guide, is overwhelmed by the experience -- neither seer nor spirit guide has any memory of the prophecy, so they must rely on witnesses to relate the divine message.

 The Seer
Seers do not often worship a single god or goddess, but instead see the gods as forces of the celestial universe to which they (seers) are closely tied, and offer worship as such.
Due to this, seers will allow themselves to be used as a voice for any non-evil god or goddess (unless they are evil themselves and allow themselves to be open to the evil deities), the channel always open for such a task.
Success will allow a seer to maintain enough control over their body to stay conscious and remember what is being said, however in the event of a failure the seer falls unconscious and will have no memory of the experience.

If you encounter a Seer and see them being asked such questions as: "Who gave you that robe?" or "How did you get to be a Seer?", then you will see the questions answered according to the personality of the character the Seer is playing at the time.
Since Seers are unpaid volunteers who use their own time to encourage and facilitate role-playing, avoiding situations that require an out-of-character response is one means of maximizing their effectiveness.
The Seers are appointed from a pool of players who have shown the ability to role-play and stay in-character in the face of adversity.

SEER ratings tell you how much cooling you get back for a unit of electricity so the higher the number the more you get for your money.
Cooling efficiency for air conditioners and heat pumps is indicated by a SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating, which tells you how efficiently a unit uses electricity.
High-efficiency units have a SEER of at least 12.0; the maximum available is about 17.

The Brahan Seer - Kenneth Odhar
The Seer met this fate when he was asked by Isabella, wife of the third Earl of Seaforth, for news of her husband who was away in Paris at that time.
She trusted that the signal vengeance she was about to inflict upon him as a liar and a defamer would impress those present including the family relations and members of the clergy, the inhabitants of Ross and Inverness, with a sense of her disbelief in the scandalous story.
The Seer said more than a hundred years before the canal was built (commenced in 1803 and completed in 1822) that "the time will come when full-rigged ships will be seen sailing eastwards and westwards by the back of Tomnahurich near Inverness".

The Date of The Words of Gad The Seer
The Seer sees animals, the sun and the moon, and all that happens is interpreted by the voice of God.
So, if the sage knew at least one term of Pythagorean philosophy, it becomes evident that the other terms could have been known to the author of Gad, and there is no need to assume its lateness from these words (especially when there was nothing new in their denotation).
In The Words of Gad the Seer verse 78 there is a sentence: 'Woe to you, O Edom, that sits in the land of Kittim in the north of the day' (Yom, but it might be Yam, denoting the northern sea).

SEER rating are the method used to describe the efficiency of a particular equipment system.
In essence, if you would have spent $100 to operate an 8.00 SEER system, by installing a 14.00 SEER system, your operating costs would drop to $57.00 as opposed to the $100 spent operating the lower efficiency system.
The higher the SEER or HSPF number, the higher the efficiency and the greater the energy savings.* For instance, if your old unit is 10 to 15 years old, the efficiency rating could be a wasteful 6 SEER.

Seasonal energy efficiency ratio - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The SEER rating is the Btu of cooling output during its normal annual usage divided by the total electric energy input in watt-hours (W·h) during the same period.
SEER is related to the Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) and also to the coefficient of performance (COP) commonly used in thermodynamics.
The EER is the efficiency rating for the equipment at a particular pair of external and internal temperatures, while SEER is calculated over a whole range of external temperatures (i.e., the temperature distribution for the geographical location of the SEER test).
