 Claude Seguin - Sask Sports Hall of Fame Inductee
Seguin joined the Saskatchewan fencing scene in 1979 when he became the head coach of the Saskatoon Fencing Club and the provincial coach of the Saskatchewan Fencing Association.
Seguin was the coach of the Saskatchewan fencing team at the Western Canada Summer Games in 1983, 1987, and 1990 and served in the same capacity for the Saskatchewan fencing team at the 1991, 1995, and 1999 Canada Games.
Seguin, in his coaching training, has achieved his NCI Level IV in all three weapons and in 1986 he became the first Canadian-born coach to achieve Fencing Master status.

Seguin told the inquiry he always felt as if the police didn't do enough to try to find the man who had assaulted him or alert the community, particularly after Seguin went to police a second time a year later after spotting the man's car and giving them a licence plate number.
Seguin said he was abused a second time in the fall of 1987 when he was 16 by Edward Desjardins, a friend of his brother.
Seguin said he would like to see improvements within the justice system and police services regarding the inclusion of victims in the criminal court process as well as the opportunity for victims to speak with either a male or female police officer.

Parry Sound (2001 census population 6,120) is a town in central Ontario, Canada, on the shore of Georgian Bay, 165 kilometres south of Sudbury and 225 kilometres north of Toronto.

We obtained a random sample of 1000 family physicians in Ontario from the 6000 member computerized database of the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
The respondents were compared to a sample of Ontario physicians taken from the Janus project data and are presented in Table 3.
We have shown that in a population of Ontario physicians that is younger than the general population of physicians, about 50% have reasonable knowledge regarding the critical appraisal of the methods and the interpretation of results of a research article.
