I don't think Patty and Selma are that bad, in fact I sort of think that it's because everyone dislikes them that the creators did a great job of portraying them as lousy slovenly people.
Best Patty and Selma moments...the previously mention foot massages...when Bart and Lisa go to sleep at they're house and each of them has to sleep in the same bed with one of the sisters...Troy Mclure marrying one of them...everytime they light up a cancer stick.
