Seminal (Hemipenal) Plugs and Seminal Exudates
Seminal plugs are not the same things as the plugs in femoral pores.
Seminal plugs, on the other hand, develop inside the inverted hemipenes and should be removed if they are not naturally expelled during defecation.
Seminal fluids may also be seen mixed in with their urates.

Relationships between Seminal Plasma Proteins and Boar Fertility:
Previous studies indicated that the relative concentrations of two seminal plasma proteins were highly correlated with in vitro fertility of boar semen and could be used to rank boars in terms of their fertility when bred to sows (Flowers, 1998).
The relationship between the seminal plasma protein profile and boar fertility as measured by farrowing rates and number of pigs born alive is shown in Table 1.
As a result, quantification of the seminal plasma protein profile appears to be an excellent qualitative test for ranking boars prospectively in terms of their subsequent fertility.

 Obstetrics and Gynecology
Criteria for diagnosis of seminal plasma hypersensitivity include relief of symptoms with the use of a condom in association with the presence of specific immunoglobulin (Ig) E antibody to one or more seminal plasma protein antigens and the absence of an underlying medical disorder that could cause symptoms similar to seminal plasma hypersensitivity.
Seminal plasma protein fraction 1 was excluded because this large molecular weight protein fraction had been previously demonstrated to interfere with successful desensitization.
In seminal plasma hypersensitivity occurring in the general population, the man is typically asymptomatic, and skin test responses to homologous semen are negative.

Nikon MicroscopyU: Fluorescence Microscopy Digital Image Gallery - Rat Seminal Vesicle Tissue Sections
The seminal vesicles are paired sac-like glands that comprise part of the male reproductive system.
The primary function of the seminal vesicles is to secrete much of the fluid that carries sperm.
In humans, approximately 60 percent of seminal fluid is released by the vesicles, though this varies among mammalian species.

Serum albumin, the predominant element of human plasma, is also an important constituent of seminal plasma, having a role as a sink for cholesterol, which is removed from the sperm membrane during capacitation [22].
The seminal plasma was previously shown to suppress induction of cell-mediated cytotoxicity [26] as well as to protect spermatozoa from female humoral response.
In the case of human seminal plasma, the aim would be the discovery of new biomarkers for prostate and testis cancers as well as identification of markers of male infertility.

 Seminal emission
To generalize it, the major pathomechonism of seminal emission is related to the heart, liver, and kidneys.
In clinical practice, seminal emission is usually due to indulgence in sexual activities, weak inborn endowment, mental overwork, excessive sexual desires which cannot be realized, intemperate diet, etc., which could influence the normal storage of the kidneys.
Some patients who suffered from seminal emission long, accompanied by cold limbs, impotence, premature ejaculation, cold semen, profuse night urine or scanty urine, puffy swelling, clear and white urine, or post-voiding dribble, bright white or haggard colorless facial complexion, pale and tender tongue with teeth impressions, white and slippery tongue coating, deep and thready pulse.

Normal seminal fluid is slightly alkaline with a pH range of 7.2 to 7.8.
The alkaline nature of the seminal fluid protects the sperm from the acid environment of the vagina.
If this carbohydrate is absent, then it may indicate the absence of the seminal vesicles, obstruction of the seminal duct or some other abnormality.

SEMINAL Network Software Engineering with Metaheuristic INnovative ALgorithms
The SEMINAL network members are currently working on applying Metaheuristic Algorithms to problems in Software Engineering such as testing, slicing and estimation.
The SEMINAL team believes that similar approaches can be applied more widely to a whole range of Software Engineering problems such as the balancing of trade-offs in multi-faceted requirements documents, the mapping and distribution of a design to an optimal software architecture, the execution of sufficient regression tests after system modification and user interface personalization.
The SEMINAL team aims mainly to encourage the application of Metaheuristic Algorithms to the solution of a wide range of Software Engineering problems, rather than develop the theory of Metaheuristic Algorithms.

It is a clotting protein that serves as the substrate in the formation of the copulatory plug.
These repeats are also present twice in the N-terminal region of the precursor of human skin elafin, an inhibitor of elastase as well as in the precursor of Sus scrofa (Pig) sodium/potassium atpase inhibitor SPAI-2.

News - Lead In Seminal Plasma Should Be Measured In Infertility Testing
Seminal plasma should be measured for lead included as part of infertility evaluation among couples with unexplained fertility problems, American investigators say.
They found that lead levels in seminal plasma varied over a wide range and there was a significant association between high lead levels and low fertilisation rates.
Higher lead levels in the seminal plasma correlated with low expression of mannose receptors and with inability of sperm to undergo mannose-induced acrosome reaction.

SUMMA THEOLOGICA: Is the subject of original sin the flesh rather than the soul?   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-21)
Further, we contract original sin from our first parent, in so far as we were in him by reason of seminal virtue.
Now there is no need for anything to be more in the instrumental cause than in the effect; but only in the principal cause: and, in this way, original sin was in Adam more fully, since in him it had the nature of actual sin.
The soul of any individual man was in Adam, in respect of his seminal power, not indeed as in its effective principle, but as in a dispositive principle: because the bodily semen, which is transmitted from Adam, does not of its own power produce the rational soul, but disposes the matter for it.
