ALAYSIA'S Senai Airport in southern Johor state expects to lure 20% of air cargo business away from Singapore's Changi Airport over the next 10 years, in addition to targeting a fivefold increase in passenger traffic over the next five to seven years.
Senai Airport, which currently handles 7,000 tons of cargo, plans to increase its throughput to around 328,000 tons over the he next 10 years, according to persons familiar with the company's plans.
This was a setback for Changi Airport, which had been trying to convince the airline to use Singapore as a regional hub.

My travel agent told me that the bus from Orchid Hotel can send us to the Senai Airport and that we dont have to book for any seats.
Just last week, to our horror we realised that we have to book for the bus and when Izel called up, was told that there are no more available seats.
