		Sentry was able to rip Carnage in half and also taking Terrax's cosmic hammer and shattering it in half with his hands.
		In a comic, i think it must have been one of the comics where he beats the Fantastic Four, the hammer was capable of emanating waves of destructive force sufficiently powerful to rent a tear in Galactus's own ship.
		Also responding the Acolyte's question, if Sentry could take a cosmic powered object from one of the most powerful beings in the Universe i feel he would be able to withstand the power of the ring, maybe even destroy it.

		Nowadays, with the primary audience for comics being adult males, DC is bringing characters like Flash, Speedy and Nightwing to the forefront as our representatives and using them as the unofficial arbiters of their universe.
		I'd only returned to comics less than six months prior at that point and was blown away by the difference in quality and style from the men-in-tights comics I'd grown up on and had initially sought out.
		For all its many faults, the comics blogiverse has one good thing going for it: a diversity of voices praising, and bashing, a wide range of comics, many of which I may have never heard of or read otherwise.

		However, since the mystery of who the Sentry is and why his wife is still alive is central to the new story arc, I will reserve final judgment on that.
		Much as I dislike the whole talking-while-fighting silliness common to superhero comics, neither am I overly fond of these characters taking an endless number of panels in order to get out one bloody sentence, especially when it takes up pages that could otherwise be devoted to such frivolities as characterisation or (gasp!) plot development.
		But Bendis is killing this comic before it’s even had a chance to get started; he’s set up plots that aren’t going anywhere, and he’s based this entire arc around a mystery that he’s managed to squeeze all excitement and interest out of in only two issues.

		I’ve always said I’ve never liked how Sentry was handled in New Avengers compared to the way Paul Jenkins wrote the character.
		The two Sentry minis by Paul Jenkins easily made me fall in love with the character while Brian Michael Bendis just made me view him as a guy who throws people into space.
		To clear his head, Sentry goes to the Moon to think by himself, but what he didn’t know is the Moon is where the Inhumans currently live.

		Due to his member ship in the New Avengers, I started reading The Sentry.
		I was able to tolerate #5 - “Web Log”, even though it seemed out of order in the continuity and certainly took concentration away from Spider-Man. The two issue story “Masks” was uninteresting and I thought I’d be glad to start the next series.
		This is when things go from bad to gouge my eyes out, burn the comic, and pray the clone saga has not re-emerged bad.
