Serge Savard, OC (born January 22, 1946 in Montreal, Quebec) is a former star ice hockey player with the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Serge finished his career with the Winnipeg Jets from 1981 to 1983 retiring in 1983.
In September of 2004, Savard was arrested in Montreal under suspicion of drunk driving.

The Gazette reported Savard, a Hall of Famer who served as the Canadiens' captain during his playing days and as their general manager after retiring, was detained by police after two minor accidents occurred in downtown Montreal at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Savard, 58, began his NHL career with the Canadiens in 1966-67 and spent the next 14 seasons with Montreal, winning eight Stanley Cups.
