	Religious Setianism
		I think it is vital to distinguish religious Setians - such as myself, Balanone, Magister Kelly, and others - as particular aspects of the process of Self improvement and individual growth we call XEPER.
		It was as a result of MY Xeper that I became a religious Setian, that is where MY Work led me. However, what constitutes the elements which manifest as this "religious understanding" for me may very well not work for anyone else, nor ideally should it (except for those wondrous cases of synchronicity).

		You were right because the Temple was founded in 1975, but the founders didnt necessarily 'break away' from Satanism, rather they saw things that they thought was wrong with Satanism, and used it as a sort of guideline, but I don't think they were ever affiliated.

		Setianism is built around the concept of being true to yourself....
		I can see how it applies very well, especially if the Setian actually believes in some Set Being-Entity-GOD and supports the ascetic and restrictive disciplines necessary for 'transcending this plane of existence' or something.
		I have noticed that the Setian ideology does imply an 'exceptional' or 'alienated' human as regards Nature, and this may be some of what TJ is trying to point out.

		Setianism, Luciferianism, eclectic, traditional/theistic, are just a few of the different brands.

	Tienda Virtual - Uncle Setnakt's Essential Guide to the Left Hand Path
		I never thought I would be reviewing a book about a subject that is generally lumped-in with "Satanism," but after many long email conversations with rational individuals, and reading a lot of "Uncle Setnakt's" views and columns online, I decided to give this book a chance.
		I am actually very impressed with this "Guide to The Left Hand Path." As I read the book, I remember thinking, "What, Satanism with Manners?" Apparently, the Setians figured out some things that a lot of Satanists I have met would be better off to practice, as well.
		I would recommend this book to everyone who is taking his first steps on slippery "occult" ground, and wondering how true initiation looks like.
