What does the average Faerunian know about the seven sisters? - Wizards Community
Of the Seven Sisters, the average Faerunian would know very little beyond the fact that they exist, that they command powerful magic, and that they are unaging mortals in the service of Mystra.
Most folk in the Realms who know of the existence of the Chosen are aware that they command powerful magic and that they are immortal unless killed outright.
The Seven Sisters themselves have unusually high ability scores, but this is attributed to the fact that they were infused with Mystras power via her possession of Elue, and because nearly all iconic novel characters recieved exceptional ability score arrays in 2E, and most of these were converted to 3E directly.

Forgotten Realms FAQ - Wizards Community
This thread has a quick example of what the Realms are used as; a campaign setting with tons of lore.
The Forgotten Realms are called forgotten because the creator of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, Ed Greenwood, saw the realms as a place that was at one time linked to Earth, but the way to get there has been forgotten.
As with all the other Forgotten Realms Forums if your topic is on basic rules and not related to the Realms in any way you should post on the main DandD boards.

As the creator of the Realms and since having sold the license to TSR, we understand there is little you can do to directly influence what we see coming forth from the realms of Washington.
While it is true that TSR owns the Realms and artistically controls them, the folks at TSR have been very good about consulting closely with me through the years in regards what's going on in the Realms.

Faerun is the continent on which most Realms adventures take place.  It stretches from Waterdeep and the Sword Coast in the west to the edge of the Hordelands in the east.  The map in the old Grey Box clearly shows that Faerun is larger than North America by quite a bit.
We also underscore often that the information you receive about the Realms is distorted (through Elminster); this allows any DM to change things in his or her own campaign without the "canon/non-canon" arguments ever arising.

Forgotten Realms is the name of an imaginary fantasy world that exists somewhere beyond our own world.
Unlike our world, the lands of the Forgotten Realms are not all ruled by the human race: the planet Abeir-Toril is shared by humans, dwarves, elves, goblins, orcs, and other, more or less strange peoples and creatures.
The easiest way to begin role-playing in the Forgotten Realms is to get in contact with such a group and ask them if you could join their campaign.

Dornal, who had been kept in the dark about his wife's true nature through the years (presumably because Mystra didn't want to risk losing his services), was disappointed and nearly distraught by the time his sixth child was born; He had always wanted sons as well as daughters.
