Shaanxi Gaitianli Kylins (陕西盗天力麒麟) or Shaanxi Gaitianli or Shaanxi Kylins are a basketball team in the North Division of the Chinese Basketball Association, based in Shaanxi.
A " kylin " is a type of mythical Chinese creature.
In the 2004–2005 season, the Shaanxi Kylins finished in fifth place in the North Division, out of the playoffs.

Shaanxi (; Postal System Pinyin : Shensi, pronounced like "Shahn-shee") is a northwestern province of the People's Republic of China, and includes portions of the Loess Plateau on the middle reaches of the Yellow River as well as the Qinling Mountains across the southern part of the province.
To make the difference clear even without tonal marks, the spelling "Shaanxi" was contrived for the province of Shǎnxī, while "Shanxi" is used for the province of Shānxī.
