		On several occasions, Shadis says, it became clear to him and others who understand the technology, that Craighead does not have the background and expertise to advise in matters of radiological safety.
		Shadis said when Craighead testified last November to the Maine Commission on Radioactive Waste and Decommission, and again at the legislature's Energy Committee, she was asked to provide documentation to support her remarks from the committee chair, Senator Sharon Treat.
		Shadis says he was told by the state personnel office that three or four people who were qualified applied, including Dale Randall, who used to advise the state on radiological matters.
