	State Grant Helps Improve McIntosh County Water District
		OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 18) -- A state grant will help underwrite a variety of improvements to a McIntosh County rural water district, Rep. Bobby Frame and Sen. Frank Shurden announced Monday.
		Frame, D-Checotah, said a $150,000 community development block grant from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce will be coupled with a $21,000 Rural Economic Action Plan grant from the Eastern Oklahoma Development District to finance the project.
		Shady Grove Rural Water District No. 5 Secretary Kathy Hill said water from the district will be supplied to up to 20 families who are using inadequate wells containing questionable water.
