You are right, I don't hold mainly to Kashmir Shaivism, only because my own Guru and my Guru's Guru were very integral in their understanding of the philosophies of India and supported their statements with both Advaita Vedanta and Kashmir Shaivism, as well as Bhagavad Gita, and even quoting from mystics of entirely different traditions.
Kashmir Shaivism gets way subtler than you just quoted from, did you take into context the view's and practices that were proposed in the other parts of the link assosiated with Kashmir Shaivism, or even Advaita Vedanta, for they are not different.
Kashmir Shaivism is deeply steeped in direct experience and then revealed through words which point to the direct experience but don't perfectly define direct experience, as they can not.
