Shanghai li gong (上海理工),founded in 1906, is a public university in Shanghai, China.
The University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) is a full-fledged multidisciplinary university committed to training of professionally competent personnel in the fields of engineering (its main feature), management, commerce, arts, science and medicine.
In July 2003, due to the readjustment of universities in Shanghai, Shanghai Medical Apparatus and Instruments College and Shanghai Publishing and Printing Training School were put under the administration of USST, and established respectively as its College of Medical Apparatus and Instruments, and Publishing and Printing College.
