The echolyn album 'mei', (2002), is being described by the band as "...a combination of Jack Kerouac's 'on the road' and Dante Alighieri's 'Inferno' section of the Comedia.
It inspired the title and cover art of Genesis' 'Wind and Wuthering' album, as well as the instrumentals ''unquiet slumbers for the sleepers...' and '...in that quiet earth'', the titels of which are, in fact, the final words of the book.
