		Shard (Shard Bishop) is a mutant character in the Marvel Comics universe.
		Shard was an officer in Xavier's Security Enforcers (X.S.E.) with her brother Bishop in their native timeline in the 2080s.
		Shard died on a mission with her brother fighting a group infected with a vampire-like affliction originating from the present day mutant, Emplate.

		As a matter of fact, the Sellsword Saga (Servant of the Shard, Promise of the Witch King, and the brand new Road of the Patriarch) happen to be my favorite cluster of his work.
		The Crystal Shard is great for understanding Creshininbon and Artemis' first encounter with the crew - also some of his past.
		The Legacy, Starless Night, Siege of Darkness, and possibly even Passage to Dawn are great reads in understanding Jarlaxle's background as well as furthering his and Artemis' relation with Drizzt, their own background and desires, and their forced partnership (From Artemis' standpoint).

		The convicts (Ayoma Skiver, Dak Moira, and Brune S’Maze) were looking for the Basal Shard, one of the oldest substance in the galaxy, and Dak Moira (the thinker of the group) believes the Shard could destroy the whole universe.
		But this issue is not without its imperfections: choosing dialogue to move much of the story rather than action is a mistake, the dialogue slows the story down, and this issue has a good beginning but a poor ending.
		For example, while Dak Moira and Brune S’Maze are looking for the Basal Shard, a lot of dialogue is wasted while they consort with humans.
