It takes place on an underwater reef where sharks are the local gangsters, and run things from their headquarters on the hulk of the Titanic.
Now they "star" in the movie, so that the posters for "Shark Tale" list De Niro, Smith, Zellweger and Jolie in big type at the top, as if we were really going to see them in the movie.
There are a lot of funny moments in "Shark Tale," free-standing gags, clever lines, neat twists, but the movie never comes together into a convincing enterprise.

Shark Tale is colourful, loud, accessible, easily challenging enough for kids without frustrating them too much and has its finger firmly pressed on the fun button.
Shark Tale is the sort of game you buy for your nephew and end up completing in a stupor while the Queen's speech pours over your snoozing Grandma in the front room.
Shark Tale is a credit to Activision's ability to take on this type of project, and, like THQ's adaptation of Finding Nemo last year, shows brilliant quality, is diverting for adults and perfect for children.

Shark Tale seems to be inspired by some of the best games of the last few years.
Shark Tale has a fairly impressive list of licensed music for the dance sections and the rest of the game uses fairly generic instrumental music I assume is pulled from the motion picture soundtrack.
Shark Tale has twenty-four levels and they are fairly easy to get through, even for a kid I’m sure.

Shark Tale's voice acting is well implemented too, it adds a great deal to the cinematic ambience of the game, and makes the characters seem more tangible, much more so than if the developers had opted for subtitles.
Overall, Shark Tale looks and sounds great, but it has some troublesome issues in the gameplay and difficulty departments; it is targeted for younger children though, so the reduced difficulty is perhaps understandable.
Nevertheless, Shark Tale is certainly worth diving into for a wet and welcome visit, but you'll probably want to step from the surf and towel off before too long lest your skin takes on that weird prune-like texture.

Shark Tale is a soulless platform for the Will Smith persona, here voicing a duplicitous social climber called Oscar who disdains his legacy as a car wash (make that "whale wash") employee in favour of a feckless dreamlife of bling and adulation.
A suggestion that shark Lenny is gay because he's a vegetarian and goes into hiding as a dolphin mingles with stuff about gambling, getting tortured and executed mob-style, and using your (ahem) feminine assets for material gain.
