Sharks - Recreational killer CD (Site not responding. Last check: ) |
 | | Still, on the whole, to call The Sharks Batmobile-copycats is absurd, because a) The Sharks were around first (according to the liner notes they're from the beginning of the eighties), and b) when listening to this album, it becomes obvious that any such resemblances are only skin-deep. |
 | | Still, the album has got its moments even after the beginning, such as the humorous Hooker, sung by Gary Day, who plays slap bass (one of the best sounding instruments around...), The Blockhouse and especially Charlie (The Sequel), which is basically the same song as Charlie, yet with new lyrics... |
 | | Overall, the album is riddled, as I already said, by being a tad uninteresting and boring. |
