Sharryn Maree Jackson (born 12 February 1962), Australian politician, was an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives for one term from November 2001 representing the Division of Hasluck, Western Australia.
Jackson was born in Perth, Western Australia, and was educated at the University of Western Australia.
She was an officer of the Western Australian Trades and Labor Council and industrial officer and assistant state secretary of the Miscellaneous Workers Union before entering politics.

Ms Sharryn Jackson MP Federal Member for Hasluck Party ALP met with Kids in the House representative Tiffany Newman in her WA office on Tuesday, July 22.
Tiffany and her mother Melanie said Ms Jackson, who has an uncle with diabetes and receives regular updates from DAWA regarding research, was very impressed that someone so young was involved in lobbying for more funding.
Ms Jackson, who was very forthcoming with her support, has taken a copy of Tiffany's notes on life with diabetes, to be included in the electorate newsletter.

In a scathing speech delivered in the House of Representatives last week, Western Australia Labor member of Parliament Sharryn Jackson attacked the ATO over its treatment of those investors in schemes denied access to the ATO’s June 2002 compromise settlement offer.
Jackson’s comments follow those of Liberal member of Parliament Don Randall, who was also cutting in a speech relating to the ATO’s treatment of affected investors earlier this year.
Jackson, who firmly supports the ATO’s moves to close tax loopholes that enable wealthy individuals to dodge their tax obligations, said a number of her constituents are suffering despite the ATO being partially responsible for the situation.

After signing the pledge at Midland Centrelink, Sharryn Jackson the Federal Member for Hasluck and Wayne Swan the Shadow Minister for Family and Community Services said that Centrelink staff often worked under difficult conditions on the front line.
Ms Jackson went on to say that many Midland families were familiar with the problems associated with John Howard's flawed family assistance program.

Delegates to Labor's special national rules conference will push to have the proportion of women candidates in winnable seats increased to 40 per cent.
The plan to be put to the conference by Western Australian MP Sharryn Jackson calls for a new 40:40:20 formula with a standing target of 40 per cent of Labor MPs across Australia being women and 40 per cent men.
The remaining 20 per cent would be a "floating" allocation with the goal being a 50:50 divide.

Workplace Agreements are widely used in WA’s contract cleaning industry.
"Most companies are using Workplace Agreements, and few offer new employees a choice between the WPA and the relevant State Award," says LHMU Assistant Secretary Sharryn Jackson.
Ms Jackson says she is yet to see a Workplace Agreement in Contract Cleaning where a worker is better off than they would be under the Award - unless it's because the employee works extra hours to boost their income to the same level or better.
