Shaw Communications Inc. raised its annual dividend by nine per cent Friday while reporting lower fourth-quarter profit.
Shaw boosted its annual dividend by six cents a share to 72 cents on Class B non-voting shares and 71.75 cents on Class A shares, beginning with the Dec. 28 payment.
Shaw said the company increased its workforce in the last two years by more than 1,500 to about 9,000 employees, despite tight labour markets.
