		Sheena was conceived as a female version of Tarzan, with overtones of H. Rider Haggard's "She Who Must Be Obeyed" (hence the name).
		Jumbo Comics #1, where Sheena made her American debut, was dated September, 1938 — just three months after Superman had, as yet unsuspected, founded a genre of his own.
		But by that time, Sheena was making the transition to other media — her first TV series, with Irish McCalla in the title role, ran 1955-56.

		Sheena is the best jungle film ever wish they made a sequel though would be cool to ssee, dvd version is much better than the vhs version, I highly recommend the title.

		Sheena's white parents are killed while on Safari.
		In her early scenes she is shot sexy beautiful, but as the film progresses we see her more as healthy beautiful.
		The final shot of Tanya Roberts, a reprise of her first shot, galloping on a zebra along an endless beach of flamingos in the background is breathtaking and worth the rental.
