		Sheik Yerbouti is a double vinyl live album by Frank Zappa featuring material recorded in 1977 and 1978, released on March 3, 1979 (see 1979 in music) and re-issued on May 9, 1995 (see 1995 in music).
		The title is play on words; Zappa appears on the cover in the headgear of an Arab sheik, and the character's title and name (an Arabic-looking nonsense word) is properly pronounced the same as the title of the 1976 disco hit "Shake Your Booty".

		The same recording of the song "Baby Snakes" appears on both Sheik Yerbouti and Baby Snakes, but the Sheik Yerbouti version is a longer edit, with an intro that is not on Baby Snakes.
		Having lived with the Sheik Yerbouti EMI for a while now, I have to disagree with some of the raves.
		Most tracks are a second or two longer or shorter, due to minute differences in fades and time codes.) "Sheik Yerbouti Tango" may be longer on the new version, however, and there's some additional mucking about in some of the other tracks.

		The first part of the song is essentially the same as the version on "Sheik Yerbouti", up through the Bob Dylan section.
		While the backing tracks for that album were recorded on the Spring '78 tour, that tour's version of this song was not identical to the album version, as it lacked the overdubbed vocals that make up the entire post-Dylan part of the song.
