I thought it was Gollum's plan to get Frodo in there to Shelob, have her kill him so he could take the ring.
Shelob wasn't as "Bad" as I thought she was going to be.
I would of liked it if she was introduced the same way as the book by a cluster of eyes slowly moving closer to Frodo then we could have Frodo illuminate the area with the Light of Erendil and then see the spider there in front of him...

Atm Shelob isnt rlly useful i dont even get her when cashfloating, Gorkil, have him creep then stay with ur army once you get him you can more openly fight battles, though beware he gets pwnt by swordsmen, i myself dont mount him his AI pathing is garbage mounted.
Shelob is good as long as you don't see too much (over ~2-3 battalions) of pikes.
And if I remember correctly, Shelob is also bugged, but the opposite to Gorkil, in the fact that she is suppose to be faster then she is. I believe that I read that somewhere, but I have not confirmed it yet.

I think that Shelob was still around after the fall but her power was diminished.
She was probably to weak to move to a better hunting ground, and all the orcs and trolls probably didn't go through there much longer so she stayed in her little lair and shrivelled away to nothing.
Well, ngoliant and Shelob were asexual, and I think she died like Ungoliant.

Shelob can't be removed from the base (Playalong's license has scale restrictions for figures) but this line is going from strength to strength with better and better detail.
The pose is also great (very manacing) and it comes with a very nice base, a Samwise figure and a webbed Frodo.
Just as a point of interest, all the legs on the AOME Shelob are fully articulated.
