		Sherwood Township is a civil township of Branch County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
		In the township the population was spread out with 25.5% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 29.0% from 25 to 44, 24.7% from 45 to 64, and 13.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
		The median income for a household in the township was $34,231, and the median income for a family was $38,203.

		SHERWOOD - Glenn E. Wright, 80, of Sherwood, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. Born April 2, 1926, in Virginia City, Va., to Kyle May and Stella Wright, he married Dallas Hale on March 3, 1947, and she survives.
		A member of St. Isidore Catholic Church at The Bend, and formerly St. Stephen's Catholic, Sherwood, she was a former CCD teacher, and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.
		Surviving are three sons; Vic (Janet) Bennett of Sherwood, Vince (Cathy) Bennett of Cecil, and Dale (Linda) Bennett of Sherwood, a daughter, Sharon (Mike Wood) Bennett of Cincinnati, OH, a brother, Edgar (Aletha) Bennett of Continental, a sister, Doris (Aaron) Kohart of Payne, 12 grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren.
