Shiksha India is a non- profit organization, governed by a Board of Trustees consisting of eminent personalities from the corporate sector as well as other sections of society, both from India and abroad.
Shiksha India is working in partnership with The Ministry of Information Technology in the project Vidya Vahini and Ministry of Human Resources under the CLASS scheme which aims to connect 60.000 schools (approximately 20 million students) across the country in next five years.
Shiksha firmly believes that once the teachers of rural India have been suitably trained in the use of technology in education and have become familiar with the utility of digital content, they can be a major contributor to bridging the digital divide.
