		Shine On is the second album by Melbourne rock band Jet, released on 30 September 2006 in Australia, and October 3 2006 in the United States.
		On 8 October 2006, the album debuted at #3 on the Australian ARIA Albums chart.
		The song "Shine On" was written by Nic to comfort his family after his father's death." "It was inevitable I would write a song that dealt with all of that, but it was almost too big a subject for me to handle," Nic says.

		The Shine album, and the varied reaction that it received, was a defining moment in Frida's musical journey, and it seems brought a premature end to her active recording career that had been constant up to that point since 1967.
		Frida's image that she was attempting to get across on this album was actually far more appropriate for her previous Something's Going On album, which interestingly has one of the most passive and soft album covers released by an ABBA member.
		The Shine project was a brave step for Frida to take, and it does work well in many places, but there are perhaps just one too many weak spots on the album.
