	Shoreline, Washington - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Shoreline is a city located in King County, Washington, 15 miles (24 km) north of Downtown Seattle.
		White settlement in Shoreline began in 1890 with the platting of the neighborhood of Richmond Beach, on Puget Sound, in anticipation of the arrival of the Great Northern Railroad the next year.
		The name "Shoreline" first came to be applied to this stretch of unincorporated King County in 1944, when it was given to the school district.
