Shoshana Elise Bean in Olympia, Washington) is an American stage actress and singer known for her roles in Broadway musicals during the 2000s.
Bean grew up in Beaverton, Oregon, and studied voice, dance, and songwriting from an early age.
Bean will be returning to the role of Elphaba in the national tour of Wicked on September 6, 2006, making a homecoming in Portland.

So, This coming Tuesday, Shoshana invited {j} and myself to see her on her opening night for 'Wicked.' She will be playing Elpheba and I can already tell she is going to bring down the house.
