		Shpongle is considered to be one of the most important and influential psychedelic downtempo music projects of recent years
		Shpongle's first tune, Rumours of Vapours, was released on TIP Records' Infinite Excursions compilation in 1996.
		The Shpongle logo, the 'Shpongle Mask' was designed by Sat Ram Bradley and was rebuilt in 3D by Calx Design for the later album covers.

		I completely understand if a newcommer doesn't understand why sphongle is that extremely super cause he didn't expierence the evolution of psychedelic ambient...
		But to be a bit positive I have found some ambient that don't sound like shpongle clones, which I find very enjoyable and alive sounding.
		I know many people don't like Shpongle and I can accept that no problem but saying something like there's nothing to it is like saying there's nothing to classical music.

		Despite rumors of having broken up, Shpongle has returned with a new rekkid chock full of their signature weirdass techno yum.
		I said, "Who the fuck names their band Shpongle?" Years later, every time I hear the word Shpongle, I still think that.
		At any rate, I'm not convinced this album is quite as shiny as their earlier releases, which remain among my favorites in the "ketamine music" category, but it's still great to hear some new stuff from the drug-addled duo, the obligatory Terence McKenna samples notwithstanding.
