PUBLISiDE; Gail Sideman -- "Get yourself known."
Gail Sideman is persistent and professional and she is passionate about people and publicity.
Sideman said that the key to working harmoniously with clients and media is to help people who seek publicity understand the roles of print and electronic outlets and their obligations to deadlines and their audiences.
Upon creating that understanding, she passes on the media’s need for having the most credible, complete information at moment’s notice, and is always prepared to provide it.

Sideman also reports on the angry gay community reaction to known boy-lovers, and he examines the thorny challenge it presents to gay-rights leaders, who worry that groups like NAMBLA play into conservatives' fears that adult gays would like to "recruit" young children.
Although it is not possible for Sideman to begin to suggest answers to the emotionally charged issues his subject raises, he fails to deal with a substantial range of questions.
The irony is that Sideman, in not coming to terms with key implications in his explosive subject, makes himself vulnerable to hate-mongers' accusations that he has merely given NAMBLA a forum to espouse its cause.

The two women in Sideman are basically the only things standing between their jazz musician husbands and a lonely death.

Set against a back-drop of be-bop and Elvis, Sideman gets a penetrating and comic rebirth this week at Belleville’s “Broadway Center of Arts” (a venue perfectly suited to the atmosphere of the play), reminding us that highly accomplished theater is happening on both sides of the Mississippi.
