  The Takeda generals
Futamata was quickly surrounded by the Tokugawa after Nagashino and Nobumori himself died of illness during the siege.
He assisted in the removal of Takeda Nobutora in 1541 and was awarded Fukashi Castle in Shinano in 1550 and the title 'Mino no kami' in 1564 (after which he was always referred to as Baba Mino).
Nobufusa fought in most of Takeda Shingen's battles and was known for his wisdom both on and off the battlefield.

He fought alongside Takatō Yoritsugu in 1545, ultimately failing in their defense against the first siege of Takatō Castle.
Ogasawara was defeated by Shingen again several years later, in the 1548 Battle of Shirojiritoge, in which he was hit by a surprise attack at dawn; many of his men were killed as they reached for weapons and armor.
This final, bitter, loss caused Ogasawara Nagatoki to retreat to Kyoto, where he taught horsemanship and archery (kyudo) until his murder in 1583.

In 1590 Motochika led a naval contingent in support of the siege of Odawara, and in 1592 commanded 3,000 troops in the invasion of Korea, being commended for his leadership once again.
Following the conclusion of the siege, however, Hideyoshi ordered Date to relinquish his newly won holdings in Aizu (perhaps using Date's tardiness as a pretext) and be content with Yonezawa (200,000 koku), a much-reduced income that doubtlessly did not sit so well with Masamune.
It is probable that Ujimasa hoped a prolonged siege would prove too much to bear logistically for the Toyotomi forces-in much the same way that earlier attempts by the Takeda and Uesugi to besiege Odawara had failed for lack of supplies.
