Sequential Tart: Generating a New Direction in Comics (vol III/iss 7/July 2000)
Led by writers Barbara Kesel (Meridian, Sigil) and Ron Marz (Mystic, Scion), the creative team behind CrossGen's comic books are a collection of new-comers and old-timers who have come together in Florida to bring fruition to President Mark Alessi's dream of a comics company that pushes the boundaries of the industry.
From this premise, the stories within the comics themselves will be longer ranging, more complex, and paced differently than a comic with shorter stories to tell.
So the question is if this new direction in comics will continue, whether the dedication and skill shown by the staff (both in management and in the creative departments) will rise, and whether the product will continue to be on time, without gimmicks, consistent, and creative.

To most people this will seem like just another graphic novel, but to anyone like me whose time as a youth was laced heavily with occult practice, Club Zero G is a deliberate and effective form of modern day Pop Magick.
Whatever the case, readers should not feel afraid of approaching the sigil Club Zero G. After all, if it works the future might not turn out as bleak as it presently looks.
My own conclusion is that media-based sigil magick, such as utilizing comic books as it were (mediamancy?) and memetic engineering are probably one and the same.

Gammid was able to return all the powers of all the Sigil bearers (plus Evinlea) and he woke Corrin up to the reality of her situation.
It was revealed in the series that there were five Sigil-Bearers taken by the Negation, though apparently only four survived the "Extinction Wave", a weapon which rendered the prison planet into a burnt husk.
The fifth Sigil-bearer, a blue-skinned, blue-haired individual with the Sigil marked on the right side of his neck, was shown in the Negation Prequel, though his name and his abilities were never mentioned.

 Footnote Comics
Most CrossGen comics take place on other planets evoking different parts of Earth's history; Crux does take place on Earth but in the far future when some of the ancient Atlanteans have been revived.
Many of the comics are linked by a yin-yang-like "sigil" that gives some of the main characters special powers and by the First, a race of gods that has some mysterious connection to the "sigil."
My favorite series are The Way of the Rat (Hong Kong-style action and humor), The Path (the Japanese-flavored saga of a monk rebelling against his insane king and the First), and Negation (a ragtag group of prisoners try to escape a universe dominated by an evil god).
