		Silverio A. Vega has been a resident of the Town of West New York for over 30 years, having emigrated in 1967 at the age of 10 from Cardenas, Cuba with his family.
		Previously, Vega was the director of the Department of Revenue and Finance, from 1991 to 1995.
		Chairman Vega represents the freeholder interests for the Hudson County Schools of Technology as a Member of the Hudson County Board of School Estimate, and for the Community College as a Member of the Hudson County Community College Board of School Estimate.
