Silverstone has taken the computer enclosure industry head-on and made a name for themselves in a very short period of time.
Silverstone is no exception; you pinch the two little plastic tabs and slide it up against It's very simple and much easier than using a screwdriver.
I asked Silverstone about this and they said it was caused by either shipping and/or bad handling during a reworking of the case.

SilverStone’s attention to small details such as the screwdriver holes for mounting the optical drive and the soft closing drive bay door help make this case even better than it already is. Cooling inside the case is excellent and incredibly silent.

Most plastic frames provide a sloppy fit, have a nasty airflow impeding grill, and serve no function other than mere convenience in mounting the fan.
The airflow-impeding bits of plastic were easily removed with a hacksaw, as shown in the before and after shots below.

While it keeps the visuals consistent, this is also a source of vibration; the case front can wiggle a bit, and a high pitched, muffled rattle results when the case is tapped.

One good thing about these ports is that they are made into a block of molded injection plastic, which is a lot more durable than the flimsy circuit board arrangement used in some cases.
The 120mm fan allows for plenty of air to be pulled into the case while keeping the racket down, thanks to its 2200 RPM and 21dBA rating (it has a standard 3-pin motherboard connector for RPM monitoring as well as a Molex connector that actually supplies power to the fan).
Apparently SilverStone also addressed the earlier reported problem with the actual pins that both doors are hinged on being made of plastic, making them more prone to breakage; the ones on the SST-TJ03-B Nimitz I received are metal.

The plastic drive rails which fit so tightly in their bays dampen vibrations significantly, cutting down on annoying buzzes and rattles.
Silverstone could have alleviated this problem, at least in part, by incorporating block style connectors for the USB function ports on the side of the case bezel.
