However, it does lead to a hysterical bug: apparently the creators of Sim City didn't talk with the team creating The Sims Unleashed, so I was able to import my pet dog.

Location: Irving, TX I say sim city classic is the best (for PC, SNES was good too, but not quite as good as PC) strictly because of the alternate architectures that you could play.
Also, the opportunity to create a disaster at an exact spot in your city makes it interesting (unlike previous versions where you could only click on the disaster that you want and have it happen at a random spot in your city).
Sim City 4 Rush Hour is my favorite because it is easier and better than the others Sim Citys.

I think Sim Life remains my favorite, one of my favorite uses of processing power before Seti@Home (Predictor@Home now) was to turn up the mutation rate in experimental mode, enable speciation, and leave it running on high speed for hours.
Sim City 2000 was fun, though there were always bugs with it saying not enough water even though I have like 200 pumps everywhere.
