		Simbi is music at the crossroads, the meeting place where the true "creole" culture of our age of migration and globalisation is created.
		Simbi has done a fine job in crafting this album of Haitian roots music and their cross-cultural musical foray deserves to be appreciated on its own merits, but equally important is their role in further heightening world consciousness about Haitian music and stimulating global tastes for the same.
