Sudbury is a small, ancient market town in the county of Suffolk, England, on the River Stour, 15 miles from Colchester and 60 miles from London.

Since then it has been a civil parish; being an urban area the parish council and its chair are known as the Town Council and Town Mayor respectively.

Simon was educated as a coach builder in the town of Thisted.
There is a small difference between my sources and the census on his age, but it seems to be the same person, because Jens Christian Nielsen lives in the town of Saxeville, which is not far from Waupaca, where his son, Simon, is living (see below).
According to the Danish Immigration Archives Simon immigrated to Waupaca, Wisconsin in 1878.

The arms granted by Commissioner-General Jacob Abraham Uitenhage de Mist to the Drostdij of Stellenbosch are those used by Governor Van der Stel (who died in 1712) and were carved on his tomb in the Groote Kerk in Cape Town.
The town was surveyed in terms of an instructie from Commissioner-General H A van Reede (dated July 1685), and on 15 October 1686 Van der Stel personally supervised the surveying of the first five erven of the first rural town in South Africa.

Girty’s old friend Simon Kenton was captured by hostile Shawnees in the summer of 1778, and after being dragged from one Indian town to another, where he was beaten and made to run gauntlets, the Kentuckian was taken to the Shawnee town of Wapatomica where he was condemned to be burned to death.
