Sesame Workshop, the USA-based non-profit educational media organisation that created Sesame Street, has worked with a group of Jordanian, Israeli and Palestinian co-production partners to create Sesame Stories (Hikayat Simsim in Arabic; Sippuray Sumsum in Hebrew), a multimedia project that presents messages of respect and understanding to young children in the Middle East.
At the core of the initiative is a television programme that combines live action segments featuring the Sesame Street Muppet characters with animation and mini-documentaries.
As of December 2005, each of the original Sesame Stories producers in the Middle East is planning to embark on a new season of programming.

Simsim, a $7-million series produced by the Arabian Gulf States Joint Program Production Institution (see box) is scheduled to be aired on TV stations throughout the Gulf, the Middle East and North Africa beginning this fall.
Of the two Muppets created especially for Simsim, Malsun the parrot is "played" by Syrian actor Tawfiq al-Asha, whose arm and hand animates the parrot while he sits on a low stool off-camera watching Malsun's performance on a silent television monitor at his feet.

A customer's SimSim account has a validity period of 60 days from the date a customer refills their account with a minimum 10 BD voucher, during this period the account is active and they can make and receive calls.
When a Customer's SimSim account runs out of credit during the first 60 days, the customer will be unable to make outgoing calls, however he can still receive calls.
In order to continue making outgoing calls, customers will need to either refill their accounts with the new SimSim 'credit only' vouchers of BD 3 or BD 5 or to refill with multiples of BD 10, which gives them additional time validity, up to a limit of BD60.

Seriously, it is hard to find a dog as attractive as he is. He's a fine example of his species, unlike, say, an overweight software designer like me.
