| | KINNOPIO - Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas |
 | | Sinbad the sailor, as some will know, is one of the heroes of Scheherezade’s Thousand and One Nights, a collection of Arabic, Persian, and Indian stories that also provided us with, among others, the famously likeable street rat Aladdin. |
 | | Sinbad bears more than a passing similarity to Aladdin (the eponymous star of the 1992 Disney movie), in that he doesn’t put much stock in the rules and laws of civilization until he falls in love, and the love of a woman inspires him to nobler ends. |
 | | Sinbad’s crew, which includes the burly first officer, Kale (voiced by the quietly resonant Dennis Haysbert), is the usual band of humorous supporting characters, but many of the one-liners come from Sinbad and even these don’t inspire much laughter. |
