Sing Buri (Thai สิงห์บุรี) is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand.
Sing Buri is located in the flat river plain of the Chao Phraya river valley.
Formerly the province separated into 3 small provinces - In Buri, Prom Buri and Sing Buri - which were unified by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in 1895.

Group manager Milton Jenkins even created a sister group for The Primes called The Primettes, recruiting junior high schoolers Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, Diane Ross, and Betty McGlown for the spin-off act.

In 1989, Sing Sing became the 14th prison in the Department to receive accreditation and the first of the older maximum-security prisons in the State to receive such a designation.

Sing Sing became a popular movie backdrop during the 1930s and 40s, especially by James Cagney, and was used for a remake of "Kiss of Death" and "Bullet" in 1995.
