 17 “THE BEAUTIFUL STRATAGEM”
These were the only troops with the condottieri in Sinigaglia; the remainder of their forces were quartered in the strongholds of the territory at distances of from five to seven miles of the town.
In Sinigaglia, as we have seen, the condottieri had only the troops of Oliverotto-1,000 foot and 150 horse-which had been quartered in the borgo, and were now drawn up in the market-place, Oliverotto at their head, to do honour to the duke.
Under pretence of assisting him in the taking of Sinigaglia, whither it was known that he was going, they had assembled there in their full strength, but displaying only one-third of it, and concealing the remainder in the castles of the surrounding country.

 Editorial : November 2000
Sinigaglia reported the overall prevalence of osteoporosis, defined as a T score below -2.5, was 29% at the lumbar spine and 36% at the femoral neck.
In interpreting these results it is important to appreciate that the T score is age dependent and 73% of their subjects were postmenopausal (mean age 57.4 yrs).
The authors concluded that the use of corticosteroids was associated with a 50% increase in the prevalence of osteoporosis using the T score threshold of -2.5.

Leone Sinigaglia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In 1888 Sinigaglia began to travel: after spells in several European cities, from 1894 he lived in Vienna, where he associated with Johannes Brahms from whom he developed a taste for so-called absolute music, studying with Eusebius Mandyczewski.
As well as this collection, for which Sinigaglia's name is still remembered today, his other compositions of the same period show a deep love for the musical spirit of his native region, as for example in the two Piedmontese Dances opus 31 (1905) and the Suite for orchestra “Piemonte” (1909).
Sinigaglia was a keen mountain climber in his youth, amassing an impressive catalogue of ascents in the Dolomites.

Giampaolo Bellini played in a dangerous cross and Sinigaglia marked his debut with a superbly-taken goal which he converted with the outside of his foot on the volley to bring to life the home fans at the Stadio Atleti d'Azzurri.
The teams went in all square at the interval and when they re-emerged from the dressing rooms it was Atalanta who looked the more likely side to break the deadlock.
The Siena defence was left exposed when Igor Budan made a dangerous raid down the left but with Sinigaglia unmarked in the centre he failed to find his team-mate and the opportunity was wasted.
