Siol nan Gaidheal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Siol nan Gaidheal (Scots Gaelic for Seed of the Gaels), is a fringe Scottish nationalist organisation whose stated purpose is the preservation of the culture, history and racial identity of so-called “ethnic-Scots” from the perceived threat of “English settlers”.
This second SnG came to end with the failure of the SNP to gain a Scottish majority in the general election of 1992 and the naitional organiser Jackie Stokes suffering a heart attack and being unable to continue running the organisation.
The "third manifestation" of Siol nan Gaidheal was established in 1997, after the Scottish electorate had voted in favour of the establishment of a devolved Parliament in Edinburgh.

Clannasaor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Its membership seemed to exist solely within the confines of members of Siol nan Gaidheal (SnG), despite protests to the contrary: the party's 'phoenix rising' logo was one that appeared on the SnG's own website for years, and a number of the articles on the Clannasaor website had been copied directly from the SnG one.
SnG members have recently shown a greater interest in other directions, with the founding of the Free Scotland Party and some members have joined the cross party Independence First campaign.
Clannasaor are effectively defunct, the website having last been updated in 2004.

Although there are other groups such as the Scottish Cultural and Fraternal Organisation or Siol nan Gaidheal in Gaelic, established in 1978 campaigning for separatism, the SNP is the main political party.
Siol nan Gaidheal claim they want independence but not through political means.
The Scottish Parliament at present is in the process of passing legislation to deal with this problem) A people, in contrast, encouraged to take proper pride in the Culture and Heritage of Scotland would confidently insist on their rights and responsibilities including the right recognised by all the world's peoples to National Self-Determination and Independence.

In floating point calculations, NaN is not the same as zero or infinity, although all three are typically handled as special cases in floating point representations of real numbers.

What is said in the Clannasaor Manifesto and the Siol nan Gaidheal Aims and Principles suggests that both share exactly the same ideas, views and goals.

The band subsequently became involved in fund-raising activities for the "ultra-nationalist" (i.e., ethnic/cultural nationalist) Siol nan Gaidheal group (who were expelled from the Scottish National Party in 1982).
One of the few bright moments for the party after the death of Sutch came in 2000 when Angela Ashcroft won a seat on the multi-member Cuckoo Oak ward on Madeley Parish Council in Shropshire.

Both Dinsmore and Busby had been members of Siol nan Gaidheal - the name in Gaelic means "Seed Of The Gael" - and Adam Busby had actually formed the Scottish Republican Socialist Party the previous year.
Adam Busby and David Dinsmore had both been expelled by Siol nan Gaidheal which advertised itself as a militant, activist group.
Ironically they were both expelled from Siol nan Gaidheal quite simply because they were militant activists, while most of the rest of the group most certainly were not.
