The aim is to assess the breed characters of Sirohi, a popular breed of goats in Rajasthan whose breed characters have reduced over a certain period of time and to study the qualitative and economic traits of the breed through various indicators, body weight and milk yield.
Studies undertaken reveal that the Sirohi breed exhibits more than one strain.
