		Sisqo is a singer whose voice--known for its great range and control --is steeped in the rough and raspy stylings of classic Black artists from the '60s.
		A savvy businessman, Sisqo took a huge gamble in stepping back from the multiplatinum success of the group Dru Hill--Nokio, Woody, Jazz and Sisqo--who began singing together as teenagers and who had their first gold single in 1996, "Tell Me." His solo project was a leap of faith that was financed with his own money.
		Sisqo, whose real name is Mark Andrews, either co-wrote or co-produced almost all of the music from the debut CD that has taken residence at the top of the charts.
