Skies of Arcadia Legends immediately sets itself apart from the rest of the traditional RPG pack with its unique setting: a world of land islands scattered throughout an ocean of sky.
Skies of Arcadia Legends doesn't have the deepest storyline, but what's there is very entertaining and moves quickly, allowing a high level of enjoyment for nearly all RPG fans.
Voice acting in Skies of Arcadia Legends is limited strictly to battle cries in combat and, somewhat strangely, a few expressions, such as laughs, sighs, and some short key words or phrases, during the dialogue in some of the game's cut scenes.

Character animation is good; facial expressions will change with a character's emotions, especially with reference to the more important characters.
However, characters aren't always perfectly set in their ways, so you'll be kept on your toes trying to guess who is good and bad at least a few times.
Skies returns to the roots of games such as Chrono Trigger and Lunar through the idea of playing a group of ambitious, troublemaking kids, and ending up on a quest to save the entire world ø something that cannot be found in many more ÒmatureÓ modern RPGs.

Finally, Arcadia is relatively easy due to the ease of acquiring your characters’ strongest Super Moves early on in the game (although some of the extra bosses are challenging nonetheless), and can take from thirty-five to sixty-five hours to complete, depending upon the time spent with the extras such as finding every Discovery.
In summation, Skies of Arcadia Legends is a decent port and a nice addition to the GameCube’s meager RPG selection despite its flaws, and is certainly worth a look from those that missed out on the original Dreamcast version.

In the land of Arcadia, magic is derived from various moon crystals, and Vyse and his merry band (including Aika, a female Blue Rogue who is Vyse's constant companion) take on the task of keeping powerful moon shard's out of the hands of (of course!) an evil empire that's up to no good.
Arcadia is a pretty big world (one that takes oaver 60 hours or so to explore) and, as such, there are plenty of things to do.
