		Filled with hushed, airy vocals and frantically finger-picked acoustic guitar patterns, the collection, which has been in the making for 14 years, subverts Buckingham’s shimmering pop melodies by placing them inside a series of lo-fi, indie-folk arrangements that are worthy of John Fahey.
		Although several songs, such as Show You How and Down on Rodeo — the latter of which features guest appearances by Mick Fleetwood and John McVie — lean a little more in the direction of Buckingham’s primary outfit, they also are stripped to their barest essence and reconstructed as minimalist masterpieces.
		While Under the Skin might not be as instantly gratifying as Fleetwood Mac’s radio-friendly ruminations, the emotional intimacy that is painted by Buckingham’s ambient production technique transforms the endeavor into something that is equally resonant.

	JAlbum community forums: Making a multi-skin album in one pass ...
		To keep my album fully up to date means much editing of these 7 jap files, double checking that the right settings are being used etc.
		So, for an album like this which has small variations in parameters, I created a "base" jap file and used the command line parameters to make the necessary adjustments.
		This means that I have only one jap file (and one batch file) to maintain, which should help reduce the work load in the future.

	Avril Lavigne - Under My Skin : album review
		Avril Lavigne's new album, Under My Skin, feels like a metamorphosis or is perhaps better described as a hybrid, catching a moment in time under Avril's skin in the timeframe somewhere between Complicated teen and grown-up singer/songwriter.
		The overall feel of the album is guitar-based pop-rock, and with Lavigne's growing friendship and significant collaborations with Our Lady Peace's Raine Maida and his wife Chantal Kreviazuk, her music was never in danger of going soft.
		Throughout the album Lavigne is only a co-writer, but this doesn't reek of nominal co-writing credits, but seems indicative of a songwriter, admittedly focussed on lyrics more than music, who is learning her trade by collaborating with others.

		I need to name it something other than album.xml because I need to put 2 albums in the same folder in my site, and the only file they cannot share (I think) is the album.xml file (and obviously the album.swf which can be renamed easily).
		One thing that would solve this issue for me (and would also, IMHO make the skin cooler) would be to change the thumbnails from a horizontal arrangement across the top to a vertical arrangement on the left side.
		I have been able to get other skins to work, but when I try to view the BananAlbum skin, I end up seeing the HTML (or is it XML in this case?) coding and not an album.
