	Skint Records - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Skint Records is a Brighton based dance music record label owned by JC Reid, Tim Jeffery and Damian Harris, who also releases records through the Midfield General pseudonym.
		Skint are the holders of the longest ever Football League sponsorship deal, as their current contract with Brighton and Hove Albion F.C. will see them having been present as the main kit sponsor for seven years.
		Their name, however, does not appear consistently across all the Brighton and Hove shirts, with some variation in logo, and even the complete replacement of the company's name with Palookaville on one of the shirt designs.

	Skint
		Skint is a complex play that brought up many challenges for me as director.
		Skint uses as a starting point the origins of myths regarding The Waste Land and the Fisher King.
		Legend has it that the Fisher King is ill and decrepit, causing a blight on the land; various heroic figures try to intervene and heal him to remedy the land, as in the King Arthur myth.

		Skint, another Warped Tour 2005 find, is a heavy punk outfit that does for punk what System Of A Down does for metal.
		Politics play a big role in Skint's music but, unlike other politically charged bands, the ranting did not bring this project down.
		Obviously, I may not agree with everything Skint says on "Dead End to Glory" but I like the way they throw it all out there for their listeners to analyze, evaluate and consider.

		The bar was standing room-only by the time I arrived and the inhabitants of it looked as though they were in an 80s teen movie, but just a little older and uglier.
		The guys closest to the stage when Skint played their unglossed punk were mostly wearing Skint T-shirts and, I can only assume, drove down from Ogden to support their friends onstage.
		Skint is the second Ogden band I have come across that does not play metal.

		Unfortunately we have decided as a group to put Skint on pause to pursue our own individual needs for the moment.
		Backed up by the band Skint (that would be Paul, Justin, Wallace and Cappy) he kicked out a hard core set of his best work.
		Though the tunes are a bit complex she was able to hammer them down in about the same amount of time it takes Cappy and Alex to drive from Boston to Worcester.

		Known for their innovative music videos, Skint records are holding an evening of their best (and worst) videos with a light hearted commentary and Q and A session with Skint founder Damien Harris.
		From Fatboy Slim’s award winning, Spike Jonze directed Praise You and the Christopher Walken dance fest, Weapon Of Choice, to the videos so bad they never got shown, this is a fascinating insight into the the world of contemporary music promo videos.
		Some will be familiar, some only got shown the once, if that, some cost a fortune, some cost sod all, but sometimes they're the most interesting.

	FC Kahuna - Hayling - Reviewed - Skint - 03.03.03
		This is the first release from FC Kahuna since they recently signed up to Skint records.
		The track has already enjoyed major backing from major radio DJ's such as Jo Whiley, The vocals are performed by Hafdis Huld, the track has a very down-tempo melodic sound and a sexy trance feel about it much like some tracks by French band Air.
		FC Kahuna release ‘Hayling’ on March 10th on Skint Records with remixes from Super Furry Animals, Ils and Chicken Lips.
